Doubts over Harvard claim of 'Jesus' Wife' papyrus
ROME (AP) — Is a scrap of papyrus suggesting that Jesus had a wife authentic?
And experts in the illicit antiquities trade also wondered about the motive of the fragment's anonymous owner, noting that the document's value has likely increased amid the publicity of the still-unproven find.

Outcry over jailed Russian chemist
Narcotics expert Olga Zelenina falsely accused of aiding drug trafficking, say supporters.

For Olga Nikolaevna Zelenina, a Kafkaesque nightmare has come true.
The Russian chemist stands accused of complicity in organized drug trafficking, and is currently imprisoned in Moscow’s detention centre number 6, where she shares a cell with Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, a member of the prominent activist punk band Pussy Riot.
But Zelenina’s supporters say she is the victim of a monstrous miscarriage of justice, and has done nothing more than provide an expert opinion on the opiate content of a consignment of poppy seeds. They are pessimistic that a court hearing scheduled for 24 September will result in her immediate release.

Website vs. Facebook

Why should I pay for my own website when I can get on Facebook for free? This is a typical question I sometimes receive from business owners looking to establish an online presence to promote their services to a wider audience.

...look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help.
(Mr. Barack Obama, President of USA, July 13, 2012)
Later he switched to regular presidential Campaign. I'm not USA citizen, so, I don't want to be blaimed as propaganda-bot from any side of Presidential Race 2012. I just find extremely interesting quote, nothing more.
What's interesting?

Interesting news from Yahoo!
It's interesting to note:
Is Social Security still a good bargain?
Previous generations got a much better bargain, mainly because payroll taxes were very low when Social Security was enacted in the 1930s and remained so for decades.
"For the early generations, it was an incredibly good deal," said Andrew Biggs, a former deputy Social Security commissioner who is now a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. "The government gave you free money and getting free money is popular."
Is Social Security still a good bargain?
WASHINGTON (AP) — People retiring today are part of the first generation of workers who have paid more in Social Security taxes during their careers than they will receive in benefits after they retire. It's a historic shift that will only get worse for future retirees, according to an analysis by The Associated Press.

My photos of Plaza Hotel demolition
On May 24 I woke up earlier to see Plaza Hotel building demolition. I made a lot of photos, waiting for the Event, but publishing only few of them: they are similar like twins. Typing Plaza Demolition at YouTube, you can get a lot of videos, including the official one, but this is my mite.

Trip to conference to San Antonio
Hello everyone!
On May 28, Monday, a group from Cyclotron and Physics Faculty and myself had an excited trip to the conference to San Antonio. Starting from College Station at 8 AM we were at San Antonio about 13 PM. I got short self-excursion during free time between presentations. River Walk, The Alamo ("Mother of Texas Independence"), Tower of the Americas (I have to start my way back, so, I was not inside, sorry, next time)... Excellent!
The photos are here: https://plus.google.com/photos/114763874066147257538/albums/5748527783310175665

Battle of Stalingrad. Another good video from YouTube
Watch here: http://youtu.be/T1AC4wm6SwM
Of course, this is not a fantastic video, like previously shared one, but this is just a good video about Battle of Stalingrad. This video has strong and detailed pre-battle description, overview of out-Stalingrad operations (Operation Kotloban, as they call it in this video), which is not so often to hear or view. And, no doubts, this video is close enouph to the reality.

Fantastic quality history show/video!
Today I find at YouTube new video, named Word War 2 Battles. Operation Bagration. I thought, this is usual video, like "Russian Red Army loses 3--5 their men per German one... Blah-Blah-Blah..." But this ( http://youtu.be/HuV_wUHRv9s ) video is, I think, the best video about Operation Bagration, I ever saw! Enough detailed and enough generalised. With context explained. With near-real losses overview.
Fantastic!

BBQ and Sailing Attempt @ 2012-03-31
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.(Mark Twain)
It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated
Hello!
Someone say, that I was alive 1.5 months ago... I hope, by this post I show You, that I was alive at last 2 weeks later. :)
Just in the last day of March I joined the company of Postdocs at BBQ and Sailing Attempt at Lake Bryan. The photos You can see here:
https://plus.google.com/photos/114763874066147257538/albums/5742234764428520193
Everything was amazing... Except the mast and sailyard. Shortly after the first attempt to set the main sail, boat switched to paddles-only engine. Later we had about 2--3 hours to dry our clothes.
And sorry for the late publication!

Texas Bluebonnet trip: Sommerville lake, Rocky Creek Park, Early Texas Homes Museum @ 2012-03-24
On March 24 I joined group of Post Docs in so called "Flower trip". We were going to see flowering Texas Bluebonnet. But as a result we had made great travel to the Sommerville lake and Rocky Creek Park on lake's shore. Only at the end of walk we found small field of Bluebonnets. :) But everyone enjoyed our parkwalk. On the way back, we visit Independence and Early Texas Homes Museum in it.

Hello everybody!
At last, I get time to share my photos from March 17 bike walk at Brazos Valley Veterans Park & Athletic Complex:
see photos here >>
The most impressive thing among this walk was American Mile Historical Walk. I've never saw something like this before! :) The best thing is that Walk may be extended through time to cover new events! :)
